Javelina Preview Day

What makes us Javelina Nation? This is you and your family’s time to find out during Javelina Preview Day. Join us on April 25, 2020 in the Memorial Student Union Building at Texas A&M University-Kingsville to gain insight into what college life is like as a Javelina while you tour our research buildings, residents’ halls and meet our award-winning faculty. Check-in time is 8:30 a.m.

Experience our unique campus culture from current students and gain valuable information from staff about services and activities available to you. Plus, if you have questions about financial aid, this is your time to get answers. So, how do you attend? Simple, just register.

When you join us at Texas A&M University-Kingsville, you’ll be taught by our prestigious, award-winning faculty that truly cares about helping you reach your goals. And with our small class sizes, we ensure you receive necessary one-on-one attention while also providing real-world, hands-on experience. Whether your academic path is Engineering, Criminal Justice, Education, or Music, our professors will help you excel in your field.



The university is located in historic Kingsville, a friendly, safe city of 25,000 that is the home of the legendary King Ranch. Corpus Christi and its beaches are just 40 miles to the northeast, and the border with Mexico is 120 miles to the south at Brownsville or 119 miles to the west at Laredo.


Texas A&M University-Kingsville consists of approximately 250 acres and more than 80 buildings. The University Farm consists of 545 acres of land located near the campus.


The Safety Office and the University Police Department are dedicated to providing protection to the campus community, as well as a safe learning and working environment for everyone on campus.


    • As a member of the Javelina family, you’ll find that living within the residence halls feels much like a “home away from home.”
    • You can go beyond the classroom by getting involved in campus activities and organizations.
    • The Department of University Housing and Residence Life provides quality basic service to residential students at reasonable costs.

      We offer Living Learning Communities (LLCs) for students living on-campus. These are communities of students that are housed within the same area of a residence hall based on academic major or area of interest, like:
