CPT Jacob D. Dopler


Captain Jacob Dopler commissioned in the U.S. Army in 2016 as an 11A Infantry Officer directly after graduating from Lewis University in Romeoville, Illinois. Captain Dopler’s military education includes the Master Educator Course (MEC), Finance Captain’s Career Course (FCCC), Master Resiliency Trainer (MRT), Basic Combative Course Level 1, and Infantry Basic Officer Leader Course (IBOLC).

After IBOLC, CPT Dopler was assigned to Task Force 1-28/ 3rd Infantry Division on Fort Benning, GA where he served as Assistant S3. After TF 1-28 CPT Dopler joined the 198th Infantry Brigade on Fort Benning. In his roles as Platoon Leader for D Company/ 2nd Battalion 54th Infantry Regiment, and later as Company Executive Officer for C Company/ 2-54 Infantry Regiment Dopler produced over 700 Infantry Soldiers. Upon completing his time as an XO, CPT Dopler was appointed to serve as the Assistant S4 for 198th Infantry Brigade, U.S. Army Infantry School. CPT Dopler graduated Finance CCC in June 2022 and promptly married Rachel whom he joyfully served alongside with at Eden Church in Columbus, GA .

Presently, CPT Dopler serves as an Assistant Professor of Military Science and is the primary instructor for cadets in their military science level 3 year. CPT Dopler is presently pursuing graduate education in Finance and Higher Education Administration.

CPT Dopler’s military awards include an Army Commendation medal, and Army Achievement award.
