Texas A&M University-Kingsville College of Business Administration has been educating students and creating business leaders since 1925. Education is at the heart of the College of Business Administration mission. We provide a comprehensive, accessible, quality business education to emerging leaders of the region, the state of Texas, national and international communities.

I am thrilled to share that this past fall, Texas A&M University-Kingsville earned AACSB accreditation for its College of Business Administration. Founded in 1916, AACSB is the longest serving global accrediting body for business schools, and the largest business education network, connecting students, educators and businesses worldwide. One of the most gratifying discoveries through the accreditation journey was about how we -- faculty, staff, students, alumni, friends of the college, employers and other key stakeholders – collectively share in the mission and vision of the college.  From different perspectives and using different expressions, everybody spoke the same language.  Achieving accreditation cemented this unity, creating a feeling of belonging to a community and a network of excellence.

Above all, we went through a transformational journey as a college. We are able to attract and retain highly qualified, talented faculty and staff; recruit, retain, graduate and successfully place business students; and have enhanced our reputation, culture, curriculum and resources. Our reputation as a community of scholars who publish in high-quality journals is growing. The College of Business Administration has become both a knowledge hub for local businesses and a community. Some of our regular activities include presenting innovative seminars and guest lectures; organizing small business conferences and panels; facilitating student research projects and connections with businesses; and cementing relations with college stakeholders.

This latest accolade of receiving AACSB accreditation is yet another testament to our commitment to continuously improve programs for our students. We remain dedicated to providing them with a relevant education and tools they need to secure a professional position in today’s workplace.
