Texas A&M-Kingsville Music Alumni Association

Greetings Javelina Music Alumni!

Welcome home!  We’re glad that you’ve stopped by our music alumni webpage and we hope you will share this site address with other music alumni.  We are trying to reach out to music alumni to keep you better informed about what is going on at the TAMUK Music Department.  We are developing a new Music Department webpage and we hope that it will provide you with plenty of information about our programs, students, faculty, and ensemble accomplishments.  By keeping you better informed about our activities, we hope that you will become more involved in our music program through your presence at our concerts and events.  Please consider this your personal invitation to come back home to Kingsville for a visit!

There is real excitement within the TAMUK Music Department as we begin preparations to design and build our new music facility.  This new facility will be a state-of-the-art complex housing several rehearsal halls, recital halls, high-tech classrooms, recording studio and equipment, practice rooms, ensemble rooms, faculty studios, and much more.  We will be in the design phase of this facility through next year.  We hope to break ground on the construction phase in early to mid-2017.  We will finally have the facilities that our talented students and loyal alumni deserve.  We can't wait for the building to be up and running!

So, please come and get involved!  We would love to hear from you and welcome you back to Kingsville.  Great things are happening on campus and we sincerely hope that you will attend some of our concerts and events.

With warmest regards,

Paul Hageman, Chair
Music Department
