Welcome to the Communication Sciences and Disorders Clinic at Texas A&M University Kingsville. Your interest in our clinic is greatly appreciated. We are a "not for profit" facility that provides speech and hearing evaluation and therapy to children and adults. Graduate student clinicians currently enrolled in the Communication Sciences and Disorders program provide all services. Their evaluations, treatment plans, and documentation are carefully supervised by a speech-language pathologist or audiologist certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and licensed by the State of Texas.
Payment is due at the time of evaluation unless other arrangements have been made with the clinic. In case of financial need, the fee may be reduced. If you wish to fill out the application for fee reduction, please advise the Clinic Secretary or Office Manager. The form for reduced fees can be found on the website forms page.
We are not medical insurance providers. However, we will gladly give you copies of the progress notes and receipts so that you may submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. Please note that our fees are the same or below the cost for most insurance co-payments.
If you have any questions, please feel free to call our clinic at (361) 593-3493.
Odette Gonzalez, M.S., CCC-SLP
