OIRA Data Request Policy

I certify that the information I have provided is accurate and truthful.

I understand that information concerning any individual student is to be held in the strictest confidence and I assure that procedures are in place for monitoring and protecting confidentiality of student information.

I understand that any unauthorized disclosure of confidential student information is illegal as provided in the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). Texas A&M-Kingsville seeks to fully comply with the intent and provisions of FERPA as stated at https://www.tamuk.edu/registrar/RGAD_ACADEMICPROCEDURES/FERPA.html. Within the university community, members of the administration, faculty, and staff who are concerned individually or collectively with furthering the students� educational programs are allowed access to students� educational reports and records.

In addition, I understand that any data sets or output reports I, or my representative, may generate with individual student data are confidential and are bound by FERPA regulations. I will not disclose to any unauthorized person any data sets or reports which I am given or devise.
