KINGSVILLE (February 18, 2026) — The Art, Communication and Theatre department at Texas A&M University-Kingsville has invited their alumni back to campus to participate in an Alumni Art Exhibit and Silent Auction to help raise money for the current programs. The exhibition begins Monday, Feb. 16, and ends Saturday, April 25, in the Ben Bailey Art Gallery. The closing reception and bidding close will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. April 25.

There will be 31 pieces by 22 artists in the alumni exhibition and silent auction, and the works range from ceramics and prints to jewelry and paintings.

Alumni artists include Angela M. Bingham, Brian Wayne Bingham, Dinah Bowman, Jennifer Bowyer, Elsie Chapa-Arias, Jesus De La Rosa, Esteban Delgado, Marissa Flores, Tony Garcia, Rolando R. Garza, Omar Gonzalez, Debra C. Hinojosa, Bryson Olivarez, Amado M. Peña Jr., Robert Peña, Bianca Perez, Adriana Perez, Homer Ramirez III, Nelson Saldaña, Tina Salinas, Orion Sanchez and Kaylie Tyra.

“The idea for the show came from department discussions about an alumni show, which eventually evolved into a silent auction as well. The proceeds will go to the Department of Art, Communication, and Theatre, to sustain the growth of its academic programs,” said Dr. Liz Kim, assistant professor of practice in art history.
