*Eligible students must have a valid FAFSA/TASFA on file, have a household income of $65,000 or less, be a Texas resident, maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) requirements, and register for at least 15 semester credit hours during the spring and fall semesters at Texas A&M-Kingsville. Summer and intercessions terms are not eligible. First class day of Spring 2021 is January 19th and the last day to register is January 25th. Offer may include grants and scholarships, any remaining tuition and mandatory fees not covered by these programs will be covered by the institution. All admitted students are considered for eligibility. No additional application is necessary.

The Javelina Opportunity Award continues the University’s legacy by helping eliminate financial barriers to achievement. Eligible students may have their tuition and fees covered for the first two long semesters (Spring/Fall) in which they are enrolled.
