            Now through Friday, December 13 BEN BAILEY ART GALLERY EXHIBIT –SENIOR EXHIBIT 2013 featuring art work from this semester's art graduating seniors. Todd Lucas, associate professor of art, is the curator. For more information, call 361-593-3401. 

            Now through Thursday, December 18 BEN BAILEY ART GALLERY EXHIBIT – KINGSVILLE INKSVILLE II printmaking exhibition. The opening reception is free to the public and scheduled for Nov. 22. Jesus de la Rosa, assistant professor of art and coordinator of the Ben Bailey Art Gallery, is the curator. For more information, call 361-593-3401. 

            Now through Friday, December 20 JOHN E. CONNER MUSEUM EXHIBIT – REFLECTIONS Paintings by local artist Dolores Price will be accompanied by artistic photos taken by her daughter, Cathy Porter. The exhibit focuses on interesting people and scenes in many fascinating places like Cuba, Italy, New Mexico, New Orleans, New York City, the Gulf Coast and Kingsville, seen through the eyes of Price and her daughter. Most of Price’s paintings are her interpretations of Cathy’s photographs. The museum is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.             Friday, December 13 COMMENCEMENT ceremonies will be held in the Steinke Physical Education Center at 1 p.m. (College of Business Administration, Frank H. Dotterweich College of Engineering, Dick and Mary Lewis Kleberg College of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Human Sciences) and 4 p.m. (College of Arts and Sciences, College of Education and Human Performance). The keynote speaker for both ceremonies will be State Representative Todd Hunter, District 32. For more information, go to the university website at www.tamuk.edu/events/commencement

            Saturday, December 14 RESIDENCE HALLS CLOSE at 12 p.m. 

            Saturday, December 14 WOMEN’S BASKETBALL The Javelinas host Texas A&M International at 7 p.m. at the Kingsville Hampton Inn Court at the Steinke Physical Education Center. Tickets are $7 for reserved seating; $5 for general admission and reserved seating for senior citizens; $4 for public school students, senior citizens and military with identification; and free for A&M-Kingsville students with a valid identification card.
