Retirement Programs

You have a choice of additional optional retirement plans which are intended to supplement your mandatory retirement plan (TRS or ORP) as a Texas A&M University System employee. More information can be found on the  Retirement Programs website.

Periodically, our retirement vendors post-financial webinars about saving for retirement, asset planning, and more. Vendor websites are also located on the Retirement Programs website. 

Identity Protection through Blue Cross Blue Shield

As a member of Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas (BCBSTX), you are provided with identity protection for yourself and your family. The IdentityWorks service is provided free of charge by Experian®, a separate entity. Enrollment in the A&M Care, A&M 65Plus, or A&M Care J Plans is required, and you need to take the initiative to register with Experian to benefit from the identity protection services.

  • Select Coverage, then Coverage and Benefits
  • Scroll down to Identity Protection and select the dropdown arrow
  • Select Get Code
  • Then select Get started with adult enrollment
