Weather Update

Texas A&M University-Kingsville is closely monitoring weather conditions across our region. The safety of our campus community remains our highest priority.

All students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to use their best judgment when traveling during inclement weather. If you are unable to safely travel to campus, please communicate with your supervisor or instructor as soon as possible.
Please continue to monitor your university email later this evening for any updates regarding campus operations.

To activate SafeZone:

  • Download the free SafeZone app from the Apple Store or Google Play store
  • Register with your TAMUK email
  • Faculty/staff: UserID@tamuk.edu (kuabc123@tamuk.edu) and your Blue & Gold password.
  • Students: Email Address (first.lastname@students.tamuk.edu) and your password used to log into Blue & Gold. 
  • You will be prompted to sign in with Microsoft 365.
  • Once inside the app, follow the prompts to add your cell phone number, a photo, and accept the Terms of Service. You will also be prompted to give access to Bluetooth, Notifications and Location Services for the most accurate experiences with the app.
