Dr. Rudolf Bohm is an Associate Professor of Molecular Biology whose lab investigates the genetic and epigenetic mechanisms that shape neural circuits and behavior. Using Drosophila as a model, his team combines molecular genetics with translational neuroscience approaches to uncover how neurons communicate and adapt without conventional synaptic signaling.
Dr. Bohm mentors a small cohort of motivated undergraduate and graduate researchers. His lab provides high-impact training opportunities in grant-funded projects—ideal for students interested in molecular biology, behavioral genetics, and preparing for doctoral or professional programs.
