Alvino is from Kingsville, Texas and graduated from H. M. King high school in 2011. He is a junior pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering with a minor in Mathematics and Security Engineering. When he is not working on homework, Alvino enjoys fishing, hunting, camping and cooking. Alvino plans to work for the Department of Homeland Security when he graduates in 2015.

Daniel Rodriguez, a second year student at A&M Kingsville, is majoring in Chemical Engineering. Daniel enjoys spending time with people, but sometimes also likes spending time on his own. During free time, Daniel likes to watch educational and entertainment videos, learning new subjects, playing video-games (Pokémon mainly), eating a good meal and sometimes walking to no particular place just to have a time to think. Daniel hopes to attend MIT to obtain a master's degree in chemical engineering and to start a degree in physics as he would like to work in CERN in the future. Above all endeavors, Daniel looks forward to becoming a good man, the rest are just details.

Veronica Salinas is pursuing an education in Mathematics with a minor in computer science. After graduation she plans to continue her education by going to graduate school and ultimately getting her PH.D. She wants to settle down with a career in Cryptology by working for the National Security Agency. She is currently a member of the Alpha Sigma Alpha Sorority where she held the position of Treasurer for two consecutive years. She enjoys hanging out with her friends, reading books, and drawing in her free time.

Nida is a senior majoring in civil engineering. Her life is fortunately smooth and simple; it consists of going to school, going to work, going to her dorm room and going to sleep. Nida enjoys watching movies (especially comedies), listening to music, shopping, working out at the gym, spending time with friends and family and baking. In the foreseeable future, Nida would like to attend graduate school and work in a reputable engineering firm.

Max is a senior BS Biomedical Sciences – Pre-Pharmacy major. He was born in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico and has lived in Laredo, Texas since he was six years old. He enjoys doing research involving biological or chemical processes of life. Max is pretty competitive; especially with living room board games and competitive multiplayer games such as Call of Duty or SID’s Civilization IV. Max also enjoys relaxing with family and friends while enjoying good food.

Lydia is a senior in the Architectural Engineering program and is scheduled to graduate in May 2014. Along with her BS in Architectural Engineering, she will be graduating with a minor in Mathematics and a Facility Management certificate. After graduation, she plans to pursue a master’s degree in Business Administration while working as an EIT (engineer in training). Lydia enjoys catching the university sports games in her free time. She also likes to engage in outdoor activities and spend time with her friends when she can break away from her studies.
