Upward Bound Math and Science Mission
The Upward Bound Math and Science Program commits to increase high school graduation rates and to increase competency in challenging subject matters in order to encourage more students to pursue programs that lead to rewarding careers in the fields of math and science.
This program is sponsored by a grant through the U.S. Department of Education. The focus of this program is to identify and select eligible students who meet income guidelines and are first-generation high school students. Eligible students must show a high interest and involvement in the math and science fields at the secondary school level to be considered for selection. Students are offered the opportunity to experience college life, enhance talents, skills related to their interests in math and science, and prepare for post-secondary education: THE SKY'S THE LIMIT!
