Dear Editor,
My name is Richard Garcia, I am a former student at Texas
A&M University-Kingsville; on my recent trip to the University,
I was disappointed to discover that campus parking has
changed since I had last been there.
There are few parking spots for automobiles, and even less
for motorcyclists.
As a motorcyclist, I find it hard to take up a whole parking
spot for one little bike, rather than park in a section that could
contain four bikes.
I understand that parking has been a huge predicament for
the past few years, and I am curious as to why the school has
yet to address this disaster.
It is an inconvenience for commuters to be more concerned
about parking, than school itself.
Is the University even attending to the parking crisis? If
not, what do we, the student body, have to do so that the situation
is taken care of?
