A 29-year-old man’s struggle to accept life’s uncertainties surfaces in Craig Pospisil’s comedic play, “Somewhere in Between.”
Performed by the Texas A&M University - Kingsville (TAMUK) Theatre department, “Somewhere in Between” is directed by associate professor of communications and theatre arts, Patrick Faherty.
The play stars business major Jose “Buddy” Treviño Jr. as Jasper, a young man near his 30-year-old mark in a promising relationship with a young woman named Holly, played by theatre and journalism major Lorraine Rodriguez.
“The play is about Jasper and his life and the people he meets along the way,” Rodriguez said.
The rest of the cast includes theatre major James Taylor Maupin, theatre and history major Jannah Morales, theatre major Rick Saenz and theatre major Stephanie Wright.
“I’ve worked with the majority of the cast before and my character is a bit of challenge but the cast is so much fun,” Rodriguez said.
Performances began on March 10 with continuing performances scheduled for Tuesday, March 11 and Wednesday March 12 at 7:30 p.m. in the TAMUK Lab Theatre Room 123 of the Drama Arts Building.
The production is for mature audiences. Admission is $3. For more information, call 361-593-3401.
