As the world goes celeb baby crazy, expecting celebrity couples such as Brangelina, and Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony look to score millions from baby pictures sold to pop culture magazines. We polled students around campus to get their opinion on the baby craze and found most deem the trend outrageous.
“Yes! It is ridiculous, because these babies don’t even know what’s going on. They also have rights, and its completely absurd. These babies are humans too, and they deserve to live a normal life.”

Clarissa Berrones
art, senior
“I think it’s pretty crazy how much the price for these pictures is, but as long as normal people ( like us) want to know about celeb lives, it’s not going to stop.”

Alyssa Rodriguez
communication disorders, junior
“Yes! They’re just baby photos. These kids are being treated as if we worship them; their just babies; their just like everyone else.”

Elvia Alaniz
music major, freshman
“Yes! Because they shouldn’t have a price for anyone’s baby photo.”

Lindsey Coy
pre-nursing, freshman
“Yeah! The price is ridiculous, but because of the fact they’re celebrity babies, some feel that their photos are more worthy then anyone else’s. What if they were any common person, no one would care to price them. It’s ridiculous just because they’re celebs.”
