About Health Services

Texas A&M University-Kingsville’s Health Care Clinic provides family practice services to the university students.  We have healthcare providers with years of experience in all areas of nursing and medicine. Ambulatory Services offered include but are not limited to:

  • Evaluation and Treatment of Acute Illness or Injury
  • Evaluation and Treatment of Chronic Conditions
  • Physical Exams
  • Minor Surgical Procedures
  • Gynecological Exams
  • Contraceptive Counseling
  • Sexually Transmitted Infection (STI) testing
  • Immunizations (Tetanus and Influenza)
  • TB Testing
  • Administration of Immunotherapy
  • Pharmacy Services
  • Laboratory Services
  • Referrals to Specialists

There is no charge for visits to the Health Care Clinic, as a student service fee is included in the tuition. Minimal fees for medications and certain services are applicable. The Health Care Clinic does recommend a university student health insurance plan for students without insurance or those seeking more affordable coverage.
