RECREATIONAL SPORTS OFFERS TWO PROGRAMS
Energize your afternoons with a lively lunch break. No need to change clothes, just throw on your sneakers for this "Walk and Talk" quickie activity break. On Wednesday, September 19th, the next Noon Walk will meet outside the Library. Noon Walks are in a different location each other week. Rec. Sports provides a walking course and draws for door prizes at each noon walk. They also provide some type of snack after the walk. Noon walks begin anytime after 11:30 am and end before 1:30 pm. Participants may walk, run, rollerblade, or crawl the course. No golf carts or cars allowed!

The Department of Recreational Sports also invites the campus to participate in the new INTRAMURAL PIGSKIN PICKS. Each week Pigskin Entry forms are available at the Rec Sports office. Pick which NFL teams you think will win each game and answer the tie breaker question. Submit your entry form to the Rec Sports office by 5pm on the Friday before game day. The person with the most correct picks will be declared the winner each Monday. In the event of a tie, the winner will be determined by guessing the closet score (without going over) on the tie breaker question. One male and one female winner will receive an Intramural Champion T-shirt. All students, faculty and staff are eligible to participate in this exciting game. For more information on either of these programs contact Recreational Sports at x3059.

STUDENTS STILL NEEDED - FACULTY VIEWPOINT SOUGHT - LAST CHANCE
Student Affairs and the Student Government Association appoint dozens of students annually to various committees throughout campus. Often times we are dependent upon only the students we are most familiar with through their involvement in activities or programs outside the classroom. Your help is still needed. If you know of a student (undergraduate or graduate) that is conscientious, follows thru well, is articulate, and could represent the student viewpoint well, please email their name to Dr. Tom Jackson, Jr. to be considered for appointments to various campus committees. Thanks!
