Prospective Students
Your first step to Texas A&M-San Antonio is Admission. Prospective transfer
students wishing to apply to our university must meet the following requirements:
- Have at least a C average (2.0 on a 4.0 GPA scale) in all college hours attempted
- 45 or more college credit hours from accredited colleges or universities
- Must be TSI Compliant
Students are also required to do the following:
- Complete the on-line application for admission for the Texas A&M-San Antonio at www.applytexas.org. Remember to indicate you are applying to the San Antonio System Center after submitting the admission application on-line.
- Pay the $15 non-refundable application fee. Mail to Texas A&M-Kingsville Business Office, MSC 104, Kingsville, TX 78363 or Texas A&M-San Antonio, 1450 Gillette Blvd., San Antonio, TX 78224.
- Submit official copies of all transcripts from other
universities and colleges attended (not more than a year
old).

International Programs serve the needs of both domestic and

Scholarships and
Financial Aid
Most students on campus receive some form of Financial Aid. Filling out
the FAFSA www.fafsa.ed.gov is the first step to applying for Financial aid. Admission to Texas A&M
University-San Antonio must be completed before
financial aid review process can begin. We encourage you to complete your
FAFSA as early as you complete our tax forms for the year. You will need your
tax form documentation to complete the FAFSA. Filling out the FAFSA can be
completed online or by mail. We encourage you to complete it online to save
time. You will be able to check your status online to determine your
eligibility.
In completing your FAFSA you will need a school code to have your information sent to the appropriate school. Our school code is 003639. Scholarships are also available for students to apply for.
