Dr. Jenny C. Wilson is an assistant professor in reading. She is interested in how the world instantiates learning, how people read the world, social literacies, and how collaboration and learning go hand-in-hand. She has been a 4th grade, 7th grade, and 8th grade teacher in South Dallas and East Austin. Her most recent publication involves how children make meaning from the world, specifically how teachers can facilitate and engender a sense of self in the world.
