ORP Election
This is to inform you that you are now eligible to elect either TRS or ORP for your retirement plan. You are entitled for this election as a new hire eligible for TRS or ORP election, or the results of a promotion to a position that is eligible for ORP election.
Human Resources or Payroll should have notified you of your eligibility for this election. If you are not sure please contact with the Human Resources or Payroll Department. Only certain employees (faculty, directors and above) are eligible for this election option.

If you desire to elect ORP please complete the forms below and return them to the Human Resources Department. A list of authorized ORP vendors is provided.
If you desire to elect or remain in TRS no action is required. TRS is the default election.
Regardless of your election, you are required to complete HR Form 12 (ORP Information Acknowledgment Form) and return it to Human Resources. Forms are listed below.
Note:
1. All prior ORP participants are required to provide a vesting letter from his or her previous ORP employer.
2. If you were previously offered ORP and you denied the election, your must remain in TRS.
3. Your election is irrevocable.
