The Office of Institutional Research and the Office of Planning and Assessment (OIR/OPA) support the mission of Texas A&M University-Kingsville by working collaboratively with all academic and non-academic units to ensure data-driven decision making and continuous quality improvement. OIR/OPA assists and coordinates systematic, research based strategic planning and reporting through data collection, analysis, development and dissemination of accurate and timely reports and analysis. In addition, OIR/OPA provides support and expertise in the development, implementation, collection and evaluation of assessment activities throughout the university, including student learning outcomes. OIR/OPA is also responsible for ensuring the timely submission and accuracy of reports to external agencies.
