College of Business Administration to host business seminar March 29

The College of Business Administration at Texas A&M University-Kingsville will host a series of Business Seminars starting Tuesday, March 29. Alumnus Joe P. Dove will speak about Tax Aspects of Small Businesses from 8:30 to 10 a.m. in room 227 of the Business Administration Building.

About Joe P. Dove

Dove is a graduate of the Texas College of Arts and Industries and a veteran of the United States Air Force.

From 1965 to 1976, Dove worked for various employers, two businesses as an accountant and on the staff of two CPA firms. From 1976 to 2007, he worked in varying stages of a CPA practice with sole proprietorship, partnering with employee and incorporating, adding additional principal. He currently is a semi-retired fellow at Dove, Thompson PC., CPAs.

 He is a member of the Rotary Club of Corpus Christi, the Corpus Christi Mustangs, SCORE, the Corpus Christi chapter of the Texas Society of CPAs, the Texas Society of CPAs and the American Institute of CPAs.
