Moon, Winter Sky to be Focus of 2nd Astronomy Viewing of the Semester at A&M-Kingsville

The public is invited to observe the moon and some of the stars of winter such as Betelgeuse, Rigel, Sirius, and Hind's Crimsons star during the second Texas A&M University-Kingsville Observatory public viewing of the semester.
The free viewing begins at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 10 in the Observatory of the third floor of Hill Hall, located east of the Memorial Student Union Building. Parking is available in the lot next to Jones Auditorium and Manning Hall on the corner of Santa Gertrudis and Armstrong and along Santa Gertrudis.
In the event of poor viewing conditions or inclement weather, there will be a video screened downstairs in Hill Hall.
