Representatives from several Texas A&M University-Kingsville offices will be in one room during the first two days of the new fall semester to make a smoother beginning for students who may have questions or problems.
The offices of admissions, registrar and financial aid along with University College and the business office will be represented at the One-Stop Shop held from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Thursday and Friday, Aug. 21-22, in room 219AB of the Memorial Student Union Building (MSUB). Those needing book loans may go to room 219C of the MSUB for assistance.
“We want to help ease the students into the first days of classes by minimizing the run around for them,” said Laura Knippers, associate director of admissions. “By bringing all the offices that provide services to students in one place, students can have their questions and problems handled more quickly and efficiently.”
Knippers said the new MoneyConnect online payment system will be demonstrated at the One-Stop Shop allowing students to receive assistance with online payments.
