University Bookstore to host Potter book release party, July 20

Will Harry Potter survive his seven-year battle with Lord Voldemort or will both have to die to rid the wizarding world of the evil menace?

 Be among the first to know by purchasing a copy of Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows at the Texas A&M University-Kingsville bookstore. The University Bookstore will host a Harry Potter Party from 9 p.m. Friday, July 20, through 1 a.m. Saturday, July 21. The book will officially be released at midnight.

Local wizards are encouraged to come to the party in costume with judges deciding the best. There also will be a Harry Potter Trivia Contest and door prizes including a boxed set of the first six Potter books valued at $150. Refreshments will be served, and a purchase is not required to join in the fun and games

Book fans may reserve their copy of Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows by visiting the University Bookstore or calling 361-593-2601 and talking to Mary or Morgan. The cost of the book is $20.99, marked down from the retail price of $34.99.
