Academy Award-Winning Documentary An Inconvenient Truth Gets Free Public Showing at A&M-Kingsville Tuesday, April 24

The global warming documentary An Inconvenient Truth, based on a presentation from former Vice President Al Gore, will be presented in a free public showing at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 24, in the auditorium of the Kleberg Agriculture Building at Texas A&M University-Kingsville.
The film, which won an Academy Award for Best Documentary, focuses on Gore’s self-imposed mission to spread the word of numerous scientists that believe global warming could lead to catastrophe in just a decade’s time.
Dr. Yifand Zhu, assistant professor of environmental engineering, will provide an introduction to the film.
This event is co-sponsored by the International Affairs Group and the student group Texas A&M University-Kingsville Against Global Warming.
