Fashion Show Scheduled As Fund Raiser For Students To Attend Dallas Career Event

The Fashion and Interiors Merchandising Group at Texas A&M University-Kingsville will host a fashion show at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 3, in Jones Auditorium. Proceeds from the show will enable the students to travel to Dallas for the Fashion Group International Career Day. The theme of this year’s event is Pulse: The Rhythm of Fashion. Tickets are $2 presale in the human sciences building or $3 at the door.
Clothing worn at the show will come from Kingsville retailers including A Bit of Class, Cactus Flower, the King Ranch Saddle Shop and the A&M-Kingsville Barnes and Noble Bookstore. Talbot’s, Muse and Mosaic in Corpus Christi also will offer fashion selections. Men’s and women’s fashions will be shown.
All models will be A&M-Kingsville students, faculty and staff with professional hair and make-up artists assisting. Refreshments after the show will be donated by Perk’s Coffee Shop and door prizes will be given out throughout the show.
The Fashion and Interiors Merchandising Group is a student group within the human sciences department in the College of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Human Sciences at A&M-Kingsville.
