Performance features new arrangements, slide show
KINGSVILLE (November 10, 2006) — Leonard Bernstein’s legendary music to the Broadway and film smash West Side Story has been newly arranged for a free performance by the Texas A&M University-Kingsville Horn Ensemble on Wednesday, Nov. 15, at 8 p.m. in the Smith Recital Hall of the Bellamah Music Building on campus.
The music was arranged and will be conducted by Dr. Jennifer Sholtis, associate professor in music, with a slide show to run during the performance with images from the 1961 film adaptation.
