A&M-Kingsville choral program presents last Spring concert

The Texas A&M University-Kingsville choral program will present the last choir concert of the spring when they perform “La Noche de la Voz” at 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 19, in the recital hall of the Bellamah Music Building.
The Concert Choir, Chamber Voices and Vox, the vocal jazz ensemble, will perform various pieces under the direction of Dr. Joan Jooyeon Lee, interim choral director and visiting assistant professor.
The A&M-Kingsville Concert Choir will be joined by a guest choir, Corpus Christi Choral Artists and will premier The Lord’s Prayer, composed by Dr. Gregory Sanders, music professor and composer from A&M-Kingsville.
The Corpus Christi Choral Artists group formed in 2004 under the direction of Mark Urbina. They will perform pieces by Barber, Whittacre, Bainton and Messiaen.
