Friday, January 15 through Saturday, March 19 JOHN E. CONNER MUSEUM EXHIBIT- A CELEBRATION OF QUILTS 2016: A HERITAGE OF TEXAS QUILTS Featuring the contributions of the Kingsville Saturday Quilters, this exhibit features both quilts completed by members as well as older quilts that have been passed down through their families. Also featured will be members’ interpretation of the Saturday Quilters’ Challenge Theme, “Texas Quilts” that embody the spirit of Texas. The Conner Museum is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. Admission is free. For more information, call 361-593-2810.

Thursday, Feb. 18, through Friday, March 18, FULL STEAM AHEAD in the Ben Bailey Art Gallery will feature paintings of Texas snakes done by fourth and fifth grade students from Driscoll Elementary School. A reception will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 25, in the gallery. This exhibition is part of the Texas A&M University-Kingsville Rural Art Program. For more information, call 361-593-3401.
