Friday, January 15 through Saturday, March 19 JOHN E. CONNER MUSEUM EXHIBIT- A CELEBRATION OF QUILTS 2016: A HERITAGE OF TEXAS QUILTS Featuring the contributions of the Kingsville Saturday Quilters, this exhibit features both quilts completed by members as well as older quilts that have been passed down through their families. Also featured will be members’ interpretation of the Saturday Quilters’ Challenge Theme, “Texas Quilts” that embody the spirit of Texas. The Conner Museum is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. Admission is free. For more information, call 361-593-2810.

Thursday, Feb. 18, through Friday, March 18, FULL STEAM AHEAD in the Ben Bailey Art Gallery will feature paintings of Texas snakes done by fourth and fifth grade students from Driscoll Elementary School. A reception will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 25, in the gallery. This exhibition is part of the Texas A&M University-Kingsville Rural Art Program. For more information, call 361-593-3401.

Thursday through Sunday, March 10-13 BOEING BOEING will be presented in The Little Theatre. This production is set in the 1960s and revolves around swinging bachelor Bernard, who juggles three stewardesses until Boeing’s new and faster jet throws a wrench into his careful planning. The play was written by Marc Camoletti, translated by Beverly Cross and revised by Francis Evans. It was the winner of a 2008 Tony Award for Best Revival of a Play. Performances March 10-12 will begin at 7:30 p.m. while the Sunday matinee will begin at 2:30 p.m. Admission is $5 for the general public and free to university students with a valid identification card.
