Monday, January 26 FIFTH CLASS DAY (SPRING SEMESTER 2015) Students will be dropped from classes if they have not paid or made payment arrangements by this date.

Tuesday, January 27 NO REGISTRATION AFTER THIS DATE (SPRING SEMESTER-FIRST EIGHT-WEEK SESSION) Sixth Class Day. Census Date. Students will be dropped from classes if they have not paid in full or made payment arrangements with the Business Office. No reinstatement of classes.

Wednesday, January 28 through Monday, March 16 JOHN E. CONNER MUSEUM EXHIBIT – “THE BISON: AMERICAN ICON” Created by the C.M. Russell Museum in Great Falls, Montana, and distributed by NEH-on-the-Road, this nationally-touring exhibit explores the significance of this American native species, the changes to its natural habit, and the effect its decline had on native peoples. The exhibit also examines the bison’s transformation to an icon and the effect its symbolism continues to have today. The museum is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. It is closed all university holidays. For more information, call 361-593-2810.

Saturday, January 31 WOMEN’S BASKETBALL The Javelinas host Angelo State University at 4 p.m. at the Kingsville Hampton Inn Court at the Steinke Physical Education Center. Sunday, February 1 CHILDREN’S PLAY will be offered as a public performance at 2 p.m. in Jones Auditorium. This year’s play is Sleeping Beauty in which Princess Aurora is cursed by the evil witch Maleficent. Admission is $1. For more information, call 361-593-3401.

Tuesday, February 3 SOFTBALL The Javelinas host Texas A&M International at 4 p.m. at Vernie and Blanche Hubert Softball Field.
