The University Photographer will be taking faculty and staff portraits Tuesday through Thursday, Feb. 7-9. A make up day will be set-aside for Tuesday, Feb. 14. The photos will be taken in the photo studio in room 323 on the third floor of Jernigan Library.
Appointments will be made in 10-minute intervals from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. each day. Call Debbie at extension 2014 to make an appointment.

Black Heritage Month activities range from lectures to exhibits

Dr. Paul Hageman, chair of the music department and professor of trombone at Texas A&M University-Kingsville, was granted the designation of Regents Professor by The Texas A&M System Board of Regents Thursday, Jan. 26.

A.S.C.E. Student Chapter earned second place in regional steel bridge competition, prepare for national competition at Salt Lake City
The student chapter of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) at Texas A&M University-Kingsville hosted the 2006 Student Steel Bridge Texas-Mexico Regional Competition on Saturday, Jan. 14. By the end of the day, the A&M-Kingsville team was named second overall, making them eligible to compete in the national contest to be held in Salt Lake City, Utah in May. Read more» |
Students honored on President's List, Dean's List, Honor Roll
Texas A&M University-Kingsville has released the names of the students who made the President’s List, Dean’s List and Honor Roll for the fall 2005 semester. In order to qualify for the prestigious President’s List, a student must be enrolled in at least 16 semester hours and have a perfect 4.0 grade point average for the semester.

University research award recipients for 2006
Twenty-eight proposals were submitted to the University Research Council for review and recommendation for the University Research Awards. Ten proposals scoring in the top 50% of the rankings were recommended for funding. Read more» |
