Dr. Mansoor A. Khan has been appointed distinguished visiting professor for the Irma Rangel School of Pharmacy at Texas A&M University-Kingsville. This is the first such appointment for A&M-Kingsville and the School of Pharmacy. read more»

Visit from the Governor
A&M-Kingsville will be hosting a visit from Governor Rick Perry at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 17. Please make plans to join us in the Student Union ballrooms for a press conference and community reception.

Thursday, August 19 OPENING SESSION AND MATRICULATION CEREMONY for students, parents, families and guests at 3 p.m. at Jones Auditorium. Saturday, August 21 CELEBRATING OUR EXPERIENCES will bring new and returning Javelinas together to share their experiences. This event features a performance by comedian Tess Drake, who was last seen on NBC’s Last Comic Standing. The event begins at 7 p.m. in the Student Union Building ballrooms. Thursday, August 26 LANTANA LUAU will be held from 4:30 to 10 p.m. on University Boulevard. The annual event for Welcome Week is a festival for student organizations, a showcase for Kingsville businesses, a spirit rally for the athletic teams and a concert all rolled into one. Saturday, August 28 FIRST CLASS DAY for all Saturday students.
