Library Workshops
The staff of the Jernigan Library has set the schedule for its computer workshops for the spring semester. These workshops are open to all faculty, staff and students. All of the courses are held in room 123 on the first floor of the library. To reserve space in any of the workshops, call 593-3319.
Those who have previous experience with Power Point and want to learn more may want to attend Customizing your Power Point scheduled from 2:30 to 4 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 24.
Courses in MLA Documentation Style will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Monday, March 1, and again from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Thursday, March 4. Students will learn how to properly cite sources used in researching using the MLA documentation style.
Basic Photo Editing will be taught from 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday, March 2, and again from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 3. This is an introductory course in photo editing using Microsoft Photo Editor.
A class in Introduction to Biology Resources will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 2. Those attending will learn how to locate and use biology resources at the Jernigan Library.
A course in APA Documentation Style will be taught from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 3. Students will learn how to properly cite sources used in research using the APA documentation style.

Dr. Cathy Downs discusses science, art and literature at 24th annual A&M-Kingsville Faculty Lecture

Remote sensing is topic of lecture
The physics/geosciences department at Texas A&M University-Kingsville will sponsor a brown bag lecture titled “Remote Sensing at TAMUDOG.” The lecture begins at noon Monday, Feb. 23, in Manning Hall room 140. Dr. Anthony Filippi will be the guest speaker. Read more»
