'ETHNIC MAN' TO PERFORM ON A&M-KINGSVILLE CAMPUS
(KINGSVILLE, January 23, 1997) -- Internationally renowned television producer/comedian Teja Arboleda knows that you can laugh while you learn. He will deliver that combination in his one man show, "Ethnic Man!" which features his "fast paced ethno-comic style." The show will take place at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 25, in Ballroom A of the Texas A&M University-Kingsville Student Union Building.
His show, performed around the country since 1992, provides a look at deeply entrenched stereotypes and opens them for laughter and discussion. The issues of multiculturalism and diversity are presented in a way that is both entertaining and informative.
Teja Arboleda is an Emmy Award winning television producer/director, writer, actor/comedian, public speaker and visual artist. He is the founder and president of Entertaining Diversity which is "committed to diversity awareness training through entertainment in the format of theatre, lectures and seminars." He has accomplished a great deal in the television and film arena, including contributions to public television, filming and production of music videos, corporate sales and training videos, commercials, public service announcements and independent films.
