BAILEY GALLERY EXHIBITS ARTWORK
(KINGSVILLE, April 2, 1996)--Artworks by students and a Santa Fe guest artist will be exhibited this spring in the Ben Bailey Art Gallery at Texas A&M University-Kingsville. Gallery hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays through Fridays. Admission is free. For more information call (512) 593-2619.
The following exhibits are planned through May:
Monday, April 8 through Friday, April 12 EXHIBIT: "New Mexico Seasons" features 28 landscape paintings by Marilyn Davidson of Santa Fe. Inspired by her southwest surroundings where she lives from June through December, Davidson returns each spring to Kingsville when husband Robert teaches philosopy from January through May at the university. A reception to celebrate the exhibit's opening will be held in the Gallery from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on

Monday, April 15 through Friday, April 19 EXHIBIT of paintings by A&M-Kingsville graduate art student Diana Kelsey Parker of San Antonio.
Monday, April 22 through Friday, April 26 EXHIBIT of ceramics and enamels by Barbara Cornett of Robstown and lithographs by Sam Brieden of Kingsville, both A&M-Kingsville students who will receive bachelor of fine arts degree in May.
Monday, April 29 through Friday, May 3 EXHIBIT of artworks by Hector Morales of Donna, Munday Weeks of Premont and Lori Villarreal of Kingsville, graduating students who will receive bachelor of fine arts degrees from A&M-Kingsville.
Monday, May 6 through Friday, May 10 EXHIBIT: "Spring Student Exhibition" will showcase a variety of artwork submitted by A&M-Kingsville art majors who participate in the "Art Day in May" judging held Saturday, May 4.
