Study abroad provides opportunity to study nursing practices in England

The Center for Continuing Education at Texas A&M University-Kingsville is offering a study abroad opportunity for local nurses to continue their education and study nursing practices in England. The trip leaves Sunday, July 21, and returns Friday, July 26.

The cost of the trip is $3,995 and it includes roundtrip airfare from Corpus Christi to London, ground transportation, a pass for the London mass transit, site visits, excursions, continuing education certificates and more.

The deadline to sign up and pay a non-refundable down payment of $500 is Friday, Feb. 15. The remainder of the fee is payable in two payments of $750 and a final payment of $1,995.

The trip will include an introductory seminar, a visit to the leading teaching hospital at the Royal College of Nursing, visits to leading private hospitals for technical and ward visits, and a seminar on nursing practices in London at the Florence Nightingale Foundation.
