Former chair honored with commemorative wall

Members of the Texas A&M University-Kingsville community and family of the late Dr. Donna Tobias joined with the faculty and staff from the art, communications and theatre department to honor Tobias for her work as chair from 1984-1997. Among her many accomplishments, Tobias was responsible for starting the communication sciences and disorders program. Her widower, Vern Tobias, center, was joined by other family members in unveiling the commemorative wall. Tobias earned her bachelor’s degree from Texas State University, master’s degrees from Texas A&I University and University of Houston and her doctorate from Louisiana State University.
