Accounting students assist with income tax forms

Upper level accounting students from Texas A&M University-Kingsville are assisting local residents in completing their 2011 Federal Income Tax forms as part of the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program.
A&M-Kingsville students are working at the Goodwill Store in the Wildhorse Mall at 1601 S. US 77 Bypass.
They provide assistance from 3 to 7 p.m. Tuesdays and Wednesdays through the tax filing deadline of Tuesday, April 17.
To qualify for this free assistance, citizens must have earned less than $50,000 in 2011.
