Texas A&M University-Kingsville Setting Records In Attendance And Sponsorships For Annual President's Legacy Ball

Texas A&M University-Kingsville’s annual President’s Legacy Ball, which will be held on March 26, is setting record numbers in both attendees and sponsors.
More than 300 guests have already indicated that they will attend the event, and that number is expected to top 325 by Saturday. The previous attendance record was 296 in 2009, President Steven Tallant’s first at the university. Chancellor Mike McKinney will be among those in attendance, marking the first time in the event’s eight-year history that a chancellor has been present.
Additionally, a record number of sponsors have been secured, with 23 companies supporting this year’s event.
Sponsors at the Gold Legacy Ambassador ($5,000) level are Campos Family Dental and Kleberg Bank. Sponsors at the Silver Legacy Ambassador ($2,500) level are 1st Community Bank, Mr. & Mrs. W.H. and Joyce Bynum, Coldwell Banker Homestead Properties, Inc., College of Graduate Studies, ExxonMobile, H-E-B, Javelina Alumni Association, King Ranch, Inc., The Law Office of Sam Fugate, and Riviera Telephone Company.
