Conner Museum to Shorten Saturday Hours in Money-Saving Move

KINGSVILLE (June 18, 2009) – Officials at the John E. Conner Museum on the campus of Texas A&M University-Kingsville have decided to shorten the hours the museum is open Saturdays, shaving two hours off the schedule.

Hal Ham, museum director, said short staffing and funding is the reason for the slight cutback in hours.

The museum will now be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays. The change will take effect Saturday, July 11.
