Javelina Cheer Team to Host Cheer Camp July 9-10

KINGSVILLE (June 18, 2009) – The Javelina Cheer Team from Texas A&M University-Kingsville will host a cheer camp from 1 to 5 p.m. Thursday and Friday, July 9-10, at the Steinke Physical Education Center (SPEC), 910 W. Avenue B.

Cost of the camp plus a t-shirt is $50 per camper. The deadline to register to ensure a t-shirt during camp is Thursday, July 2. Registration is available the first day of the camp, but t-shirts will have to be picked up at a later date. Campers must be at least four years old at the time of registration.

            Campers will learn jumps, cheers, dance, tumbling, games and arts and crafts. Registration forms may be picked up in room 170 of the SPEC or they are available online at http://osa.tamuk.edu/recsports/forms.htm.
