"Saddle up y'all" and head on over to the Conner Museum

KINGSVILLE (January 24, 2006) — Saddle Up Y’all, a special exhibit featuring saddles from various parts of the country and different time periods, will continue to take place in the west gallery of the John E. Conner Museum at Texas A&M University-Kingsville. The exhibit continues through Friday, Feb. 28.

Saddles featured in this exhibit include a military saddle, a western saddle from Pueblo, Colo., a Mexican Jalisco-style saddle and many others. The exhibit also features saddle blankets from the King Ranch and twelve woolen Mexican saddle blankets that compliment the exhibit.

The Conner Museum is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Admission is free. For more information about this exhibit and the Conner Museum, call 361-593-2810.
