President's Legacy Ball offers dinner, dancing and fellowship

KINGSVILLE (February 28, 2006) — The countdown is on for Texas A&M University-Kingsville’s annual President’s Legacy Ball, happening Saturday, March 18, in the Grand Ballrooms of the Memorial Student Union Building.

Cocktails will begin at 6:30 p.m., with dinner at 7:30 p.m. and musical entertainment scheduled for 8 p.m.

The evening will feature a social hour with canapés, champagne service and an open bar. Sodexho Marriott Food Services will provide a full meal, with salad, entrée and dessert. Later in the evening, a coffee bar will be available, along with brandy and liqueurs.

Grady Gaines and the Texas Upsetters will serve as the night’s musical entertainment. These experienced performers from Houston offer a host of musical styles, including the standards, soul and R&B, country and more.

Other activities to take place include a silent auction and the unveiling of new plaques to the Legacy Wall of Honor. The wall is a tribute to all individuals, families, corporations and foundations that have made cumulative donations of more than $100,000 to the university.
