James Warth, Saxophone & Jazz Studies
         Assistant Professor of Music

 

 

James Warth, Assistant Professor of Music, has been teaching saxophone and jazz courses at Texas A&M-Kingsville since 1992. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from the University of South Carolina and the Master’s degree in Applied Music from the University of Texas at Austin.

He has performed in a wide variety of classical and jazz concerts at venues throughout the world, including a performance with The Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra, under the direction of James Conlin. Mr. Warth recently recorded two compact discs with the Nova Saxophone Quartet on the Musical Heritage Society label.

Currently he performs with various jazz groups and on bass clarinet, e-flat clarinet and saxophones with the Corpus Christi and Victoria Symphony Orchestras.
