Yes. Individuals may fax applications for posted job vacancies to meet a closing deadline. A letter of application stating the position of interest with a resume may also be accepted to meet deadlines. However, a TAMUK application will be mailed to you and the Human Resources Office must receive the original application with your signature before you may go on an interview.
Yes. However, this is only to meet deadline purposes. The Human Resources Office must receive an original TAMUK application before the candidate may go for an interview. (Please refer to question #2)
No. Texas A&M-Kingsville policies require individuals to submit a separate employment application and related documents for each posted job vacancy. Individuals may make copies of their employment application and submit copies for multiple TAMUK (however, copied application must have an original signature).
No. It is the applicant’s responsibility to fill out a new application or submit a copied application with original signature. (Refer to #4)
Yes. However, typing tests are only conducted if the applicant is selected for interviewing. human resources office will conduct the typing test prior to the interview. The same test document and equipment is used in order to maintain consistency and fairness to all who are tested. The hiring department determines a satisfactory score.
