Steps To Offering an Online/Hybrid Course

Step 1 Request to Offer Distance Education Course
Complete and submit the "Request to Offer Distance education Courses" form at least three (3) months prior to offering a course in a distance education format.  It is a one time submission for approval.
Step 2 Request to Offer DE Course in Semester Schedule
Complete the "Schedule Changes" form to request a course be offered in the semester schedule.
Step 3 Request to Offer Distance Education Program
 

SACS requires institutions to submit prior notification when 25-49% of a degree program will consist of distance education courses.  SACS requires submission of an official substantive change prospectus prior to delivering 50% or more of a degree program by distance education courses.  Contact the Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs for more information.
